Dr Palepu B Gopal, one of the best Critical Care Specialists in Hyderabad has immense knowledge and experience in the field of Critical Care Medicine. Currently, Dr Gopal is working as a Senior Consultant – Critical Care Medicine at Citizens Specialty Hospital, Hyderabad.

With experience that spans over three decades, Dr Gopal is an expert in delivering critical care to patients admitted to ICU. He also has expertise in the clinical management of COVID-19 patients and toxicology management of ICU patients.

Dr Gopal is highly skilled in various ICU procedures like Percutaneous Tracheostomy, Intra-abdominal Pressure Monitoring, and Fibreoptic Bronchoscopy in ICU. As an Intensivist, he has a special interest in the management of Liver Diseases, Transplantations and Infectious Diseases in critical care.

Recognized as one of the top Critical Care Physicians in Hyderabad, Dr Gopal has participated in several clinical trials as well as developed policies and protocols to standardize quality control in Critical Care.

An alumnus of the Rangaraya Medical College, Andhra Pradesh, Dr Gopal pursued his MD in Anesthesia from the prestigious Post-graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh. Since then, as one of the successful Critical Care Physicians, Dr Gopal has been adding new horizons to his career. He has been awarded numerous fellowships and awards from some internationally renowned universities, including the Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training (CCST) in Anesthesia and Intensive Care from the United Kingdom.

Dr Gopal has participated in numerous seminars and workshops. Also, he has presented papers at various recognized national and international scientific conferences. Among many firsts to his credit, Dr Gopal was the first teacher to be recognized for Fellowship of National Boards (FNB-CCM) in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
