Dr Pooja Kalantri is one of the leading Nephrologists in Hyderabad. She is currently serving as a Junior Consultant in the Department of Nephrology at Citizens Specialty Hospital, Hyderabad.
With extensive hands-on experience, Dr Kalantri has conducted over 332 kidney transplant evaluations and has managed 185 patients in the immediate post-operative period following kidney transplants. Her expertise also includes performing 40 transplant kidney biopsies and participating in weekly selection committee meetings for potential kidney transplant recipients.
Dr Kalantri is deeply involved in the care of more than 500 hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and home dialysis patients, showcasing her proficiency in managing diverse renal conditions. She has acutely performed over 300 CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy) procedures for patients with acute kidney injuries. Her technical skills include conducting Vascath Placements, Permcath Removals, Native Kidney Biopsies, and Transplant Kidney Biopsies.
