Research

  • Prosthetic Valve thrombosis is a rare complication in patients with prosthetic valve replacement. We, in our hospital have introduced a new method of percutaneous manipulation of the thrombosed prosthetic valve in patients who did not respond to thrombolytic therapy and are high risk candidates for surgery. We have till now successfully treated five such patients percutaneously. I have presented a case series of five patients in CSI 2009 (Cardiological society of India meet)
  • My other areas of interest include “Spontaneous coronary artery dissections, Atherosclerosis in coronary artery anomalies, Myocardial infarction in very young individuals ,Cardiomyopathies
