1. Consult with your current doctor or avail yourself of an online consultation with Citizens Speciality Hospital doctors to assess whether it is suitable for you to travel abroad considering your current health and medical condition.

2. Once you have made the decision to pursue treatment overseas, inform your local doctor about this decision so that they can continue providing follow-up care in your home country.

3. Gain a comprehensive understanding of the procedures involved, including managing expectations and understanding what can be achieved through the operation. Consult with your doctor about what to anticipate during recovery and whether any physical therapy will be necessary.

4. New patients must send a copy of their passport (including relevant staff) in order to receive a Visa invitation letter from our hospital. It is crucial that once patients receive this invitation letter, they promptly share their flight itineraries with our International Representatives.

5. Ensure that you bring along all important documents such as Visa documentation, immunization records, MRI scans, and other relevant medical documents (refer to our Required Documents section for a complete list).

6. Upon arrival at the airport, our hospital staff will arrange an airport pick-up service for you as well as aid in arranging accommodation at a hotel nearby.

Arriving at Citizens Specialty Hospital

When you arrive at the hospital, kindly be aware that it is necessary to provide your passport at the registration counter in order to complete your patient registration. The hospital will retain a copy of your passport for record-keeping purposes, including the photo page and Visa details. It is important to note that this step is mandatory as per the directives issued by the Government of India.
